China's Leading Supply Chain & Logstics Awards, the CHaINA Awards 2008 are back again and recognize the supply chain excellence being achieved in Greater China over the past year. The awards will be presented at a dinner the evening of November 6 during CHaINA '08 event.

 

The night will begin with an introductory wine tasting cocktail party, before moving into the ballroom for a sumptuous diner together with fine wine and drinks, good speakers, entertainment, and of course, the excitement of the awards themselves.

 

2008 Awards Categories:

• Supply Chain Operational Excellence in China (Top Award)
The award for Supply Chain Operational Excellence recognizes a manufacturing or retailing organization that operates significant components of a supply chain and has demonstrated excellence in the design, operation or improvement of that supply chain in China.

• China's Supply Chain Executive of the Year
This award recognizes an individual who has made a significant contribution to the success of his company in China while implementing supply chain management initiatives, programs or applications.

• Best 3PL Supply Chain Provider
This award recognizes the third party logistics provider who has proven excellence in developing and delivering supply chain solutions and services in China.

• Best Supply Chain Consulting Partner in China
This award recognizes the best consulting firm who has shown excellence in developing and delivering supply chain expertise and consulting services in China.

• Best IT Supply Chain Solution for China
This award recognizes any vendor who has delivered significant value in the implementation of communications, e-business and information management and technology, in any aspect of passenger or freight transport or supply-chain management solutions.

 

• Training Education and Development Award for China
This award recognizes the trainer or a training inititative or program that have shown subtantial results in developing or advancing supply chain knowledge or expertise within an organization in China.

 

• The Green Supply Chain Award in China
This award salutes individuals, progams or oganizations who have set and exceeded high standards for environmental friendliness. Recipients of this award are selected on the basis of strong environmental leadership and their firm commitment to promote green shipping standards in China.
